These guidelines were written as part of the See a Voice project to help theatres market their assisted performances. It was originally hosted on the See a Voice website but has now been moved to this location. The information is broken up into two sections: ‘Marketing your captioned performances’ and ‘Marketing your audio described performances’.
As the See a Voice project concentrated on the provision of captioning and audio description, there isn’t a separate section which covers the marketing of BSL interpreted performances. We hope to be able to add this section presently. In the meantime, there is some information about marketing to Deaf audiences in the BSL interpretation part of the Access Co-ordinators section of this resource.
We hope that the information is as comprehensive as possible, but if you find that you still have questions, please do get in touch via the Contact us page.
